Dear family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of him when he was active in the Bass Lake Association. Sometimes I would stop by on my bicycle, and if they were outside I would stop for a chat. You were fortunate to have great parents.

My love to you as you mourn the loss of your Dad and grandfather. I remember his joyful, lightheartedness and fun-loving teasing as a child. He and Anne always welcomed me into their home; They were patient as we laughed the night away in the safety and warmth of their home. Such beautiful hospitality, and such beautiful memories. He was a great role-model of growing old, faithfully, and with grace. His greatest legacy... love, which lives on through you. Peace and blessings to all.

What a kind, fun loving man. I knew him when I called bingo at Knapp Haven & talked with him in the hall. He would come to my Bible Study. I will miss him.
