The Historic Burnham Funeral Home was organized many years ago by the Burnham Family and was located in downtown Chetek. Many years later it was relocated to its present location. John Ours purchased the funeral home from the Burnham Family in 1985, and at that time renamed it the Burnham-Ours Funeral Home.

With the retirement of John Ours in April of 2011, the Burnham-Ours Funeral Home was purchased by Tom and Reenie Kolstad. The Kolstad's have a long tradition of funeral service in their family. They have owned and operated the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria, Wisconsin for many years. The Kolstad family looks forward to providing the same caring and compassionate service that has stood the test of time at the Burnham-Ours Funeral Home. The Kolstad family will continue to provide excellent, professional, compassionate and affordable services.
