Condolences to the family of Gene Anderson.  I had the opportunity to work with him on investigations for the OLR (Office of Lawyer Regulation).  He was quick to volunteer on cases, and I had the privilege of working with him several times.  I was impressed with his spirit and good attitude.

We, at the Bloomer Food Pantry, were so sorry to here of Gene's passing. He talked to one of our volunteers just that afternoon prior to his death. He was such a great advocate for our services to those in need in our area, volunteering as a board member for several years, representing both the Veterans from our area and the handicap clients. He worked with us in the creation of an appropriate facility for all who come to us for help. He had a great heart, always cheerful and helpful whenever we needed a voice for those who are unable to help themselves. Our sincere gratitude to your family for sharing him with us during his time here in Bloomer. We send our sincere prayers to you and your family.

So many years have passed by since we last saw a great friend like Gene, and we don't know where to start only to say our condolences and many prayers are with his family and his many many friends, as he tried to be a caring friend to all he met or knew and would do anything for anyone if he could. Gene can now walk again with his loving wife Melody and go fishing again on Prairie Lake just like they used to do. May the both of them rest in peace

What a blessing it was for us to have Gene in ours lives.  He was a great friend, a great man, and someone who always knew how to get something done.  Gena could always put a smile on your face and make you laugh (regardless if what he was saying was appropriate  or not).

I have enjoyed reading all of the condolences that have been written here.  Although I am grieving myself my heart goes out to Gene's children, grandchildren and siblings.  Just know that only time heals the pain of loss but with that you can celebrate his life and love.  Know that he loves all of you in death as much as he loved you in life. He has now been reunited with those who have gone before him and will be watching over you with all of them.  I love you all and will always be there if you need me!!
