My early memories of Dave were of the entire Martin clan heading toward the old Methodist church on Plum Street for Sunday school with big sister Linda shepherding everyone and Dave, Don, and Reid running in the grass or snow in their good shoes, rather than staying on the sidewalk.

Dave and I were best friends through our high school years. We spent a lot of time together doing things (fishing , skipping school, drinking beer or just cruising around and talking . Dave and I were good friends since early childhood and throughout our high school years. You could not ask for a better friend when growing up. He always had such a positive attitude and good outlook on life. I was blessed to know him. We had much in common. We have been praying for him and for his family and will continue our prayers.
