Rose Judkins Obituary

Rose Mary Judkins passed away on February 13, 2024, in Chetek, Wisconsin.

Rose was born November 18, 1954, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin,  the 6th child of Jack and Agnes Judkins.

Rose is survived by her 10 siblings,  June Ida of Owen,  Wisconsin, John, Jerry, Thomas Charles (Anna), Pam Cherry, Victoria all of Eau Claire,  Jacqueline (Clark) Albers of Minocqua and Patrick (Roberta) of Holman, and William and Michael,  of Eau Claire.  She is further survived by her best friend and cat Baby Cakes. Rose was predeceased by her parents,  Jack and Agnes, and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She has many beloved animals waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for her. Rose was employed by the Dunn County Health Care Center for years and traveled the United States with friends. As her parents aged, Rose moved home to care for them,  which she did until they passed.  She then cared for our Aunt Margaret Kewin until her death in 2012. Rose and her brothers Mike and Bill,  were finally able to purchase their own home, which was of great pride to them. Rose loved nothing more than taking care of her home, her pets, and her family. Rose had a heart bigger than the sky and she would give anyone, anything, that they needed, to help them. Her siblings and Baby Cakes will miss her forever.

A graveside memorial will be held on March 11, 2024, at 1 p.m. in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. There will be a lunch at the Eau Claire Senior Center,1616 Bellinger St. following the graveside service. All are invited.
