Robert Wayne Fulkerson

Robert Wayne Fulkerson, age 82, passed away on October 2, 2022, in Chetek, Wisconsin.

Robert was born to Ruth and Wayne Fulkerson on May 15, 1940, in Mora, Minnesota.

Robert served our country proudly as a Marine and Army soldier for nearly 30 years. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He cherished every moment he spent with his grandchildren, he especially loved to treat them to a pontoon ride. He was a family man through and through. Robert enjoyed fishing in his younger days and spending time on the lake. He was dedicated to his many fantasy football teams, sometimes having close to 20 teams he was in control of. His favorite pastime was talking s*** and drinking Henry's. Robert will be dearly missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his bride and love of his life, Lorna Dahl, and his parents, Ruth and Wayne Fulkerson. 

Robert is survived by, his children, Rhonda (Richard) Guenther of Nixa, MO, Rachel (Stu Leipnitz) Fulkerson of Colfax, WI, Sarah Fulkerson of Chetek, WI, and Brian (Jodi) Fulkerson of Bruce, WI, grandchildren, Natasha Schlieve, Christian Fulkerson, Marissa Fulkerson, Maia Velasquez, Jackson Kosier, and Mariana Velasquez, and great-grandchildren, Kylie Patton, Charlotte Fulkerson, and Robert Fulkerson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Chetek VFW. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Noon, with a short service at Noon. He will be laid to rest at the Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin.
