William “Bill” Zwadlo, 74, of Chetek, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire, with family at his side. Bill was born on October 29, 1951, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, to Chester and Otylia (Novak) Zwadlo.
Bill had a passion for cooking, and his kitchen was a place where delicious meals and cherished memories were created. Whether preparing a feast for family gathering or experimenting with new recipes his culinary talents were a testament to his nurturing nature. Bill's garage was a haven for tinkering and creativity, where hecould often be found immersed in projects that reflected his resourcefulness and ingenuity. Bill would spend Sundays cheering for his favorite football team. He also liked to take long drives, that was a part of his adventurous spirit and to enjoy the beauty of the open road. As we say goodbye, we take solace in the knowledge that his spirit will continue to guide us, reminding us to live with courage, compassion, and an open heart.
Bill leaves to celebrate his memory: his wife, Christine, children: Daniel Davis, Mashell (Tim) Craker and Nicole Zwadlo, grandchildren: Janette, Jessica, Kayla, Ashley, Michael, Justin, Samantha, Diamond and Jade, many great-grandchildren, siblings, Gregory (Carol) Zwadlo, Jeffrey (Carolyn) Zwadlo, Helene (Richard) Calkins, Deborah (Dan) Friis, Suzanne (Thomas) Gustum, Michael (Janet) Zwadlo, and Andrea Spencer, sister-in-law, Sue Zwadlo, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Chester, mother, Otylia, son, Donald Davis, and his brother, Jim Zwadlo.
