Robert Dahlman

Robert “Bob” Dahlman, 82, of Chetek, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025.

Bob was born on October 12, 1943, to Joe and Hilda Dahlman. He grew up with a love for hard work, craftsmanship, and community-a theme that carried throughout his life.

In 1969, Bob married Sally Jaquet, and together they raised their family in Chetek. After Sally’s passing, he was blessed to find love again and married Diana Schaaf in 2010.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a dedicated business owner, operating the Coast-to-Coast store in Chetek for 30 years, and later worked for Eau Claire Tile doing flooring.

Bob also served his community as a member of the Chetek Fire Department.

He had a deep passion for woodworking and could often be found in his workshop crafting something special. Bob also enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fishing -always surrounded by friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Hilda Dahlman; his sister Barbara Wierzbicki; his first wife, Sally; and his son Lawrence.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Diana; daughters Susan (Brian) Bayer, Mary Zuelke, and Sharon (David) Scherwinski; stepsons Dave (Jody)Schaaf and Jim Schaaf; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Bob will be remembered for his warm heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to his family and community.

There are no public services planned.
