Pamela Clara Davis Stanford, born April 21, 1955, in Ramsey, Minnesota, to Clara Tuttle Davis and Curtis Davis, passed away on April 11, 2026, surrounded by a legacy of a life lived fully and unapologetically.
Pamela was united in marriage to Timothy Stanford on August 18, 1971, until the time of his passing on December 20, 1999. Later in life, she shared 17 meaningful years with her partner, Allen Woods.
Pam is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Melissa (Ryan) Stanford of Rice Lake, WI. and Christina Stolt of Lumberton, MS. as well as her bonus daughter, Amber (Derek) Honeyman of Darnelle, AR. and sister-in-law Kathy Stanford. Pamela was a proud grandmother to Cassidy (Kami) Stanford and Brandi Stolt, and a great-grandmother to Oliver Stanford.
She is survived by her siblings: Terry (Vicky)Davis, Mary (Joe) Jes, Dixie Gohde, Cindy Davis, Ginger Jones, and Kitty (David) Prebola. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara (Tuttle) Davis, and Curtis Davis; Sisters Glenda Gloria Snyder, Carol Davis, and Cherry May Davis Thompson; brother-in -laws Dewayne Stanford, John Turner, Ray Gohde, Ronnie Davis and Denny Jones; Nephews, Shawn Jones, Todd Davis, Chad Gohde; Nieces, Becky Swieca, Louise Turner.
Pam had a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys. She loved playing cards, fishing, traveling, and tending to her flowers- she truly had a green thumb. Her love for birds brought her peace and happiness. Known for her brutally honest nature, Pam had a personality that people either embraced wholeheartedly or not at all-and she wouldn’t have had it any other way.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 1st from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek, Wisconsin.
She will be remembered for her strength, her authenticity, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew and loved her.
