Gail Nee Tully (Yep) 68 of Cameron Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Thursday July 9, 2026 at Marshfield Medical Center in Rice Lake, Wisconsin after a long and courageous battle with thyroid cancer. Her beloved husband, John, was by her side.

Gail was born on March 8, 1958 in St. Paul Minnesota to Sam and Lin Yep. After graduating from Johnson High School and St. Catherine’s College in St. Paul she enjoyed a long and successful career with US Bank.

Gail met the love of life, John Tully. and they were married for 37 wonderful years. Together they built their dream home on Lake Ojaski and moved to Chetek Wisconsin, in 1999. After Gail retired from 1st National Bank in Chetek she and John embraced retirement by traveling the world, fishing, volunteering in the community and enjoying good books. Gail will be remembered for her dry sense of humor, quick wit, kind heart, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Gail is survived by her devoted husband John; her sisters Donna Neudauer (Don), Ruth Pechmann (Mark) and Katie; and her nieces, Andrea, Ranaye, Alicia and Amy. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Lin Yep.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr A and the staff of the Oncology Department at Marshfield Medical Center in Rice Lake Wisconsin for the compassionate care, kindness and support that they provided throughout Gail’s journey.

A Celebration of Gail’s Life will be held on Saturday July 25, 2026 from noon to 4:00 pm at Fire Away Roadhouse in Cameron Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, no memorials are preferred. 

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek, Wisconsin has been entrusted with arrangements
