Debra Ann Jacobs passed away on April 9th, 2025, in Chetek, Wisconsin.

She was born on February 21, 1956, in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Rita Jacobs, and a sister, Sandra Vanpembrook. 

Debra leaves behind two brothers, Gary (Al) Jacobs and Doug (Ronda) Jacobs, two nephews and two nieces, Derick (Jeff) Vanpembrook, Kelly Vanpembrook, Chad (Melissa) Jacobs, and Amanda (Mark) Sanicki, four great-nieces and one great-nephew, one great-great-niece, her boys Lambeau and Bucky - who were her pride and joy, and lots of great friends which she considered family.

She was a proud member of the Chetek community. She was a true testament to dedication, courage, service, and generosity, which will be felt for generations. Deb believed it was better to give than to receive, raising money for The Polar Plunge, Bikini Run, and many other charities for years.

Deb was a member of the Chetek Fire Department for 27 years - Cheif of Election Inspector. Deb was an avid fan of the Packers, Brewers, and Cubs. She always said, "Heaven is our home, we are only here for a visit!".


A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Red's Grill and Bar in Chetek, WI from 1:00-4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers or plants, please make a donation in her memory to the Pink Ribbon Advocacy for Barron County, Chetek Fire Department, or the Chetek Food Shelf.


The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
