Welcome to the memorial page for

Nancee Christine (Oltman) Neuhalfen

December 19, 1954 ~ February 14, 2017 (age 62) 62 Years Old

Nancee C. Neuhalfen, 62 of Chetek, Wisconsin formerly of Henry, Illinois passed away on February 14, 2017 after a courageous battle of cancer and surrounded by her loving husband and daughters.

Nancee was born in Lacon, Illinois on December 19, 1954 to the late Earl and Lois Bryden Oltman.  She married Steven B. Neuhalfen on July 20, 1974 in Henry, Illinois.  Nancee is survived by her amazing husband, Steve; daughters, Stephanie Eyman and Jennifer (Jeff) Wilson; grandchildren, Makenzie, Brooke, Luke and Katie; sisters, Jeanne (Marion) Bendele, Sandy (Terry) Hays and brother, Jerry (Kathy) Oltman.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donnie.

Nancee loved spending her “retirement” days at the lake cabin that her and her husband built.  She enjoyed fishing, gardening and watching movies with popcorn and was one heck of an amazing cook.  The most important thing to her was her husband, daughters and grandchildren, whom she loved to spoil.  She worked as an Administrative Assistant most of her life, last working for Sherwin Williams and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

Nancee had such a courageous soul and battled cancer with strength, determination and faith in God for the last 2 years.  Her belief that she could fight this monster never wavered until the very end.  She was and always will be an inspiration to us all.  The love shown to her by her husband is one out of a fairy tale.  He never left her side and cared for her daily until her last breath.

Burial rites have been accorded and a family celebration will be at later date.

Memorials may be made out in Nancee’s name to: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Glioblastoma Research, P.O. Box 5028, Hagerstown, Maryland, 21741 or by website, www.MSKCC.org.
