Dorothy "Dot" Luanne Dreysse

Dorothy “Dot” Luanne Dreysse passed away peacefully on October 13, 2019 at Atrium Senior Living Center in Chetek, WI.

The visitation will be at Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Funeral Home in Chetek, WI on Thursday, October 17th from 4-7:00 p.m.  There will be a short celebration of life service following the visitation at 7:00 p.m.

Dorothy was born November 2, 1944 in Elmhurst Illinois to Fairee and William Seipp.  Dorothy lived in Illinois until around 1976, after which she followed her parents to Chetek, WI.

Dorothy worked many years as a waitress at Pheasant Run in St. Charles, IL. She then became a homemaker and raised her 7 children.

She loved to fish, camp, and cook.  She enjoyed spending time at her parent’s cabin on Ten Mile Lake.  She also loved to paint and do rosemaling in her spare time.
She is survived by her children: Tracy Kelly (Mike), William Sandkam (Anne), Kerry Smetana (Roger), Tara Dallmann (Wendy), Shannon Dalson and Joshua Dreysse; grandchildren: Brittany (Charlie), Asia, Cheyenne ( Austin), Dakota, Billy, Chad, Austin, Taitelynn, Brennan, Annemarie, Jordan, Deja, Tariana, Christian; great grandchildren: Alex, Kaeleigh, Kinley, Gage, Tristin, Remington, and Rhett; brother in law, George Komperda; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother; father; stepfather – Ralph Kroeger; sister, Sharon Komperda; brother, Michael Seipp; and son, David Sandkam.
